Easy Honey Apple Cider Vinaigrette Dressing

This Easy Honey Apple Cider Vinaigrette Dressing has made me want to eat a green salad every single night!  It easily has become a staple in our home and everyone loves it! I always know something is good when Matt goes back for seconds and thirds! Sure, store bought is easier, but you can’t beat a homemade dressing.

This super simple cider vinegar dressing recipe and post are sponsored by Madhava Foods but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you are anything like me, sometimes making a salad can seem like a lot of work. I am always looking for ways to make my life easier in the kitchen and this honey apple cider  vinaigrette dressing is one of those times! This basic vinaigrette dressing recipe takes less than 5 minutes to whip up and it is so delicious!

The key to this dressing is using high quality ingredients. I always use Madhava ingredients because their products are the purest in the category.  In fact, Madhava’s products are continuously tested by The Clean Label Project to verify our products are free of over 130 environmental and industrial contaminants, including heavy metals, pesticides and insecticides.

Madhava honey is slightly sweet, organic and sustainably sourced. I also love that Madhava honey is a family owned company that has been around for almost 50 years!

This super easy dressing is perfect for salads of any season.  It's light and refreshing for summer.  However, it also lends itself well to fall and winter salads because it has the sweetness of honey and the tartness of apple cider vinegar. You can also add a little bit of Dijon mustard for some depth of flavor.

I really enjoy this recipe because it's a great switch up to a balsamic vinaigrette. If I do opt for a balsamic vinegar, I opt for Madhava.  This super simple recipe is like an oil and vinegar dressing with a new twist.

To make this dressing, simply whisk together all of the ingredients in a bowl or jar. I like to use a jar so that I can store any leftover dressing in the fridge. This dressing will last for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.  If you crave a hint of citrus, try fresh lemon juice. I typically sprinkle salt and pepper on top of my finished salad, too.

I love to serve this with tomatoes and cucumbers. You could also add a little raw onion, but my family doesn’t like onion very much, so I skip it.

Why I love Madhava

It's Madhava's mission to get clean ingredients and pantry staples to tables across the country, redefining standards of purity across all the categories.

I've used Madhava's extra virgin olive oil for years. It has a lower smoke point, which makes it great for dipping, dressings, baking, slow roasting.  As a Sicilian myself, I love their Italian roots.

It's single sourced from the clean soil and pristine growing conditions of Tunisia, packed in Sicily by a 5th generation Sicilian olive oil master who tastes and tests each lot himself ensure quality and authenticity.  It's amazing the pride that goes into their products.

I was thrilled to try Madhava apple cider vinegar because it's new to the market.  It's made with organic fresh-pressed apples sourced from Italy.  Plus, I know it's clean because it's unpasteurized, unfiltered, and raw.

While avocado oil is ideal for high smoke points, I still wanted to use it.  The blend of the two gave a nice flavor.  Like their other oils, the avocado oil it is the only Avocado Oil with a Purity Award from The Clean Label Project.

Honestly, the list goes on and on -- Madhava is clean and delicious.  Plus, it's available on Amazon here!
