Hi, I’m Jen, your perpetually optimistic, fun-loving, witty friend.

When I’m not working at my day job (The Marketing Greenhouse), you can find me gardening in the sunshine, playing games with my kids or creating content over here that inspires people to try new things and be the best version of themselves.

I have too many interests for just one title: Marketer, Creator, Mom, Partner, Only Child, Gardner, Wannabe Paddle Tennis Player.

My mission in life is to inspire more women to start their own business.  I'm a firm believer that more women in business, the better the world. Whether you're here for my mom hacks, my business tips or just how to juggle it all, I want to inspire you to try something new.  I love sharing things with you all in hopes in brings joy and maybe a bit more sanity to your life!

Spill the tea! (or coffee in this case)

Did you always know you wanted to work for yourself?

YES! My mom did it, and I knew I wanted to follow in her footsteps. I remember a VP sitting me down one time to learn about my aspirations, and I was upfront that it wasn’t in corporate -- whoops!

What’s your favorite meal?

I’m a sucker for a good short rib dish or duck confit.

If you weren’t living in Chicago, where would you be?

Jessie likes to remind me that I’m NOT living in Chicago, and I don’t claim the burbs… I claim a beach town just outside the city. But if I weren’t in the Chicagoland area and money were no object, you’d find me in California. It’s always been a dream of mine to live there… maybe someday!

What advice would you give to someone just starting out?

Just get going and check your ego. Getting started is the hardest part, and the sooner you can get it over with the better. Truly!

What’s your favorite restaurant?

Coast Sushi hands down -- fun fact, I’m walking distance to one now.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I’m wittier (and more fun) than I look. Jessie always describes me as this super buttoned up, organized individual to our clients at The Marketing Greenhouse, and while I am, I love to joke around and have fun.  I’m super sarcastic.

Favorite place you’ve traveled?

It’s a toss up between the Amalfi Coast and Sydney. If Australia weren’t so far, I could easily live there. I’m also 50% Italian and was *thrilled* to connect with culture when we visited. Their way of life is so inspiring.

What’s your greatest accomplishment?

I haven’t achieved it yet! My goal in life is to be successful enough to walk my kids to school, head to the beach with my coffee for a morning walk, work and finish my day to be back in time to grab my kids from school.
