First, I highly recommend ordering a kit because it makes it so much easier. Unless you have a machine where you can easily create decals, having the front sticker and file folder labels done for you is a game changer. Here is the kit I bought.
Buy a sturdy box that will be the foundation for your keepsake box. I bought this file folder box, since I’ll be using it for school mementos.
First, you have to clean the surface. Then, you’ll slowly peel off the decal onto the plastic box smoothing it out as you go. Go slower than you think! If you don’t transfer it properly, the sticker can be destroyed.
After the sticker is set up, the hard part is over! Now, you can focus on creating the file folders by add the labels to each. Set them up in order, and you’re ready to save!
