Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush Review

Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush Review

I'm thrilled to share my Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush Review with you today. Jessie shared how easy it was to style her sister's hair last year, and I was intrigued. I always take Jessie's recommendations to heart because she truly loves anything she shares.

Well, let me tell you, I have fallen in love with it!  This post isn't sponsored in the least - I wanted to share my Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush Review because it's just truly that great.  It's been reviewed so many times by larger publications like Better Homes & Garden as well as Glamour

I was reluctant because so many hair tools come across as gimmicky. Since getting the Revlon One Step, I never use my hair straightener.  Easily shop it here

What's to Love About the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush?

Have you ever tried giving yourself a blow-out using a hair dryer and round brush? I gave up on that a long time ago, until I found this hair dryer brush.

This life-changing product combines the power of a dryer and the precision of a styling brush, so you can salon blowouts in just one step! No more fumbling around with a conventional dryer and brush in the mirror.

The classic rounded shape of the brush gives you volume and full-bodied curls, while the nylon pin and tufted bristles gently grips your hair without pulling. This blow-dry brush is hotter than other brands I've tried, and always does a great job of straightening my hair.

One of the things I noticed the most was how smooth this tool makes my hair. That's because of the built-in genuine ion generator, which uses ionic technology to reduce frizz. No more pesky flyaways!

It also has multiple heat and speed settings, so you can customize it to your hair type and desired results. Whether you have thick, thin, long, or short hair, you can find the right amount of heat and power to achieve the best results.

Is the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush suitable for all hair types?

If you're someone who is constantly on the go and doesn't have a lot of time to spend styling your hair, then the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush is a great tool for you. When you combine the power of a dryer and the volume of a styler in one single step, you can achieve gorgeous styles with minimal effort.

But is the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush suitable for all hair types? Yes! Whether you have long, short, thin, thick, curly, or straight hair, this tool can work wonders for you.

The brush design allows for even heat distribution and prevents excessive heat damage to your hair. It also has multiple heat settings, including a cool setting, so you can choose the right amount of heat for your specific hair type.

For those with fine or thin hair, this tool is a godsend. The nylon pin and tufted bristles are gentle on the hair, making it perfect for delicate strands. The ionic technology helps to reduce frizz and static, leaving your hair looking smooth and shiny.

If you have thick or coarse hair, you'll love the power of the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush. Its high heat setting and powerful airflow can easily handle even the thickest of hair. Plus, the rounded edges of the brush create gorgeous volume and full-bodied curls, giving your hair a salon-worthy finish.

The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush is also perfect for taming curly hair as well! The ionic technology helps to smooth out the hair cuticle, resulting in less frizz and more defined curls. And with the multiple heat and speed settings, you can find the perfect combination to achieve the curls of your dreams.

But can you use this with shorter hair too? Yes, this tool is versatile enough to handle any hair length. The oval brush design makes it easy to style shorter hair, and the rounded edges create volume and movement.

Trust me, no matter your hair length or type, you will save so much time trying to get a sleek and polished look with this amazing tool!

Does the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush reduce drying time compared to a traditional hair dryer?

Let's be honest, as a working mom I don't have time to spend hours blow-drying and styling my hair. That's why the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush is such a game changer!

One of the reasons the One-Step Hair Dryer is more efficient than conventional hair dryers is the unique oval brush design. The oval shape not only helps to create full-bodied curls and smooth hair, but it also allows for even heat distribution. This means that you can dry your hair in less time than a standard blow dryer.

Besides even heat distribution, this blow-dry brush also has multiple heat and speed settings. You can adjust the temperature and airflow for your specific hair type and desired styling time.

For example, if you have fine or thin hair, you can use the low setting to minimize heat damage. On the other hand, if you have thick or coarse hair, you can use the high setting to speed up the drying process.

Can the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush be used on wet hair?

The Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush can be used on wet hair. I recommend towel-drying your hair first to remove any excess water. It's actually designed to be used on damp hair.

You can dry and style in one step! The brush detangles your wet hair, while the hot air from the dryer dries your hair and gives it gorgeous volume. The built-in genuine ion generator also helps to reduce frizz and add brilliant shine to your hair.

For better results on wet hair, make sure your hair is clean and towel-dried to remove any excess water. Then, plug in the brush and select the desired heat setting. The brush has three heat settings - high, low, and cool - so you can choose the right amount of heat for your hair type.

Start by dividing your hair into sections and hold the brush close to the roots. Use the brush to glide through your hair from roots to ends in a single pass. The brush's rounded edges and bristles help to give you salon-worthy curls and volume!

There's a bit of a learning curve when you use this amazing product for the first time, but there are so many benefits too! First, it saves you time by combining the drying and styling steps into one. You no longer have to wait for your hair to dry before styling it, saving you valuable time in the morning.

Second, using this tool on wet hair can actually cause less heat damage compared to using a conventional hair dryer and then a separate styling tool, like a straightener. The Revlon brush is designed to distribute heat evenly, preventing excessive heat damage to your hair. , preventing excessive heat damage to your hair.

Can the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush be used on dry hair?

The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush can be used on dry hair too. On dry hair, it's a good idea to use a heat protectant spray to shield your hair from the heat. This will cause less damage and keep it looking healthy and shiny.

To use the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush on dry hair, simply plug in the brush and select the desired heat setting. Then, divide your hair into sections and hold the brush close to the roots.

Use the brush to glide through your hair from roots to ends, applying gentle tension for smooth results. The brush's rounded edges and bristles will give you volume and shine in a fraction of the time!

Are there any heat settings on the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush?

The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush has three heat settings to cater to different hair types: low, high, and cool. You can easily adjust the heat according to your needs, whether you have fine hair or thick hair.

With its unique oval brush design and built-in genuine ion generator, this hot air brush dries your hair quickly while adding volume and shine.

For those with fine or thin hair, using the low heat setting is recommended to minimize heat damage and achieve beautiful, smooth hair. This setting is also ideal for anyone with shorter hair, as you'll need less heat to style less hair.

If you have thick or coarse hair, the high heat setting will provide the right amount of heat to effectively dry and style your hair. This setting is perfect for creating full-bodied curls on longer hair or straightening your hair with just like a flat iron.

The brush also has a cool setting, which is great for setting your style so it stays all day. This cool shot helps to seal the hair cuticles, resulting in less frizz and longer-lasting hairstyles.

Does the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush have a rotating brush head?

No, this blow-dryer brush does not have a rotating brush head. However, it does have a unique oval brush design with round edges that helps to create smooth and voluminous curls.

The brush is fixed in place, but you can easily maneuver it and style from any angle. So, you can still achieve salon-worthy blowouts on your own hair without the need for a rotating brush head.

The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush is designed to simplify your hair styling routine by being an all-in-one tool. With the power of a dryer combined with the precision of a styling brush, you can dry, smooth, and style your hair in a single step.

With this amazing tool, you can achieve the perfect blowout at home, even if you're not a professional stylist.

It's my go-to straightener & styler

So, I do not use it as my hairdryer.  To be honest, I haven't tried that so I'm not sure how well it works.  Since becoming a mom (and I hate to admit this), my get-ready time is seriously limited.

I get ready in about 20 minutes every day. That's a shower to makeup to hair. 20 minutes flat. Since it straightens and adds a soft curl so well, it's the one hair tool I bring on vacations. It travels so easily!

It's available everywhere!

I feel like everyone has their go-to shop for hair products.  It makes it so easy to recommend because it's available everywhere!

It's the perfect hair refresher

I'm fortunate in that I can go for about three days before needing to rewash my hair. I can easily use the Revlon One Step to freshen up my hair every time.

It looks salon-fresh no matter what day it is. I'm always amazed by how well it redoes my hair to look like a fresh blowout. Hands-down, this is one of the best hair tools I've ever used!

Tips & Tricks for Using the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer Brush

1. Start with Damp Hair

Don't try this with your hair soaking wet. It works best on damp hair that's been towel-dried.

2. Use a Heat Protectant

While this volumizer hot air brush causes less damage than traditional hot tools, it's still a good idea to use a heat protectant to keep your hair healthy and shiny.

3. Dry & Style in Sections

Make sure you're dividing your hair into manageable sections so it gets evenly dried and styled, especially if you have a lot of hair. I start with the bottom layers and work my way up!

4. Choose the Right Heat Setting

Base the heat setting off your hair type, not length. Use the higher heat setting for thick hair and the lower heat setting for fine hair or damaged hair.

5. Practice the Techniques

If you want volume at the roots, hold the brush under the hair close to the scalp for a few seconds and then slowly pull through the rest of the strands.

To create curls or waves, rotate the brush as you pull it through your hair. Apply some tension as you pull t through to help smooth the cuticle.

6. Clean Regularly

Cleaning it monthly helps keep the motor clean so that it operates well.

Bonus Tips

  • Extra Volume: Flip your head upside down to dry your roots

  • Sleeker Ends: Slightly twist your wrist at the end for a naturally curved look
