Breastfeeding is undoubtedly one of the most challenging aspects of motherhood. As someone who became an exclusive pumping mom, I can tell you pumping has become a popular way to produce breastmilk for babies when direct nursing isn't possible.

My breastfeeding journey as a new mom
As a new mom, the Willow had just hit the market. It was one of the only wireless pumps I knew of in the marketplace. I was able to get one breast pump with my insurance plan, so to avoid an extra cost, I got a traditional pump. I opted for a Spectra with my first child and the Spectra S9 with my second child. That allowed me to offer my second breast milk for an extra three months after I stopped breast feeding. In my years of experience, taking the pressure off of my milk supply and doing what worked for me and then my family actually ended up producing more ounces of milk.
One other thing to consider with breast pumps in general is the extra cost involved. For a wireless pump, there can be more accessories needed like a pumping bra and reusable containers for storage. these are things you'll want to budget for.
